Brainwave-meditation🧘

Brainwave-meditation is a powerful method for taking your meditation practice to the next level. It’s like a “biohack” for your brain, but it’s definitely not cheating. Instead, you’re harnessing your brain’s natural learning ability. Through seven steps, you gradually train different brain states that deepen and broaden your meditation practice. We’re here to support you in the background throughout this process.

Unlock your deeper potential with brainwave-meditation

Brainwave-meditation is not therapeutic in nature, it is intended for individuals who already practice meditation and wish to deepen their experience. Additionally, it can help improve performance by increasing cognitive flexibility, and can also serve as a preventative measure to reduce burnout symptoms. The beauty of neuromeditation is that the process itself serves as a form of meditation.

Preventive measure for stress & burnout

Brainwave-meditation is like a massage for the brain. It can help you break free from daily stress and reconnect with your inner core. It can help calm your mind and relax you on a deeper level. By training your brain to enter different states, neuromeditation can help you gain more focus and clarity, improve your emotional well-being, and restore your inner balance.

Improve your sleep

The brain activity trained during brainwave-meditation shows similarities to the activity during sleep. This can lead to an improvement in your sleep quality. Additionally, brainwave-meditation can help improve your mental and emotional well-being. By training different brain states, you can feel more relaxed and centered, and better able to cope with stress and anxiety. This can contribute to a sense of inner peace and balance in your daily life.

Peak-performance

In addition to the deeply relaxing meditative phases, brainwave-meditation also includes training aimed at improving focus on external matters. By combining these trainings with other protocols, your brain can become more flexible and efficient, also known as peak performance. With brainwave-meditation, you can not only experience inner peace and relaxation, but also improve your cognitive abilities and optimize your performance in various areas. It is a powerful method for training your brain and improving your mental well-being.

How does brainwave-meditation work?

Brainwave-meditation uses neurofeedback to condition beneficial brain activity. Since your brain is sensitive to reward, you can influence this activity to some extent by linking a reward to desired brain activity. This reward can be subtle, such as a gradually increasing sound. In brainwave-meditation, meditative sounds such as gongs and nature sounds are used, which become louder or softer as your brain activity 'performs' better. This way, you can train and deepen desired brain states, leading to deeper meditation and improved mental and emotional health. The exercise itself is actually a form of meditation!

How does the process proceed?

Brainwave-meditation is something that really requires you to take the time for it. Therefore, make sure you have enough time available to follow the program in peace. With brainwave-meditation, we send you a special neurofeedback headband. You will have access to a special app with the protocols. Via a video call, we will help you get started with the use and do a short brain measurement. Based on the brain measurement, we individually adjust the brainwave-meditation protocols. Then, you will follow the training every day, at least 4-5 times a week for half an hour to 40 minutes. We are available via chat during office hours for advice and support. After 4 weeks, you will have completed all programs and we will have an evaluation video call. After this, you can either return the band or continue for another 4 weeks.

What is the recommended amount of time to reserve for brainwave-meditation practice?

Brainwave-meditation is an intensive program that requires a significant time commitment. To fully benefit from the program, it's recommended that you set aside at least 20 minutes, four to five days a week, in a comfortable and quiet environment. This consistent practice will help you achieve the best results from the program. The typical duration for brainwave-meditation protocols is 20 minutes, though it is possible to extend them to 40 minutes if desired. Furthermore, it's possible to combine two different protocols in a single session, which would add up to a total of 40 minutes.

Train your brain with brainwave-meditation

Brainwave-meditation works with brain waves. These brain waves indicate something about the state of the brain, such as whether it is calm, alert, or tense. By ‘training’ these brain waves, we can make you feel and function differently. In brainwave-meditation, we teach your brain to strengthen the waves that naturally arise during the meditation process, thereby deepening, enhancing, and accelerating meditation.

Jeremy informed his teacher that all the teachers at his school have noticed a positive improvement in his performance and behavior. He is motivated, full of energy, and happily shares how much he enjoys school, both in class and at home.

Marije

The debilitating symptoms of my focus issues have significantly decreased. I highly recommend neurofeedback to anyone struggling with focus issues. I started my sessions in July and completed around 20 sessions until September, after which I gradually reduced them. The results have been truly transformative.

Peter

With neurofeedback, I now sleep deeply, and waking up is a breeze. After several sessions, I even stopped taking my medication. I’ve noticed a significant increase in my energy levels and my ability to tackle daily tasks with ease.

Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback

Biofeedback means that you get feedback about the state of your own body. Because our brain has the ability to learn from this quickly, we can learn, to a certain extent to control how our body behaves. In this way, for example, we can learn to make our heart beat faster or slower, or to raise or lower our blood pressure. Other forms of biofeedback are learning to control muscle tension (EMG) and blood flow in the fingers. Biofeedback is therefore a general name for all these possibilities. Neurofeedback is a special form of biofeedback in which we learn to train our own brain waves (EEG). That is why neurofeedback is also called EEG biofeedback. We get feedback from our brain and can therefore learn to control our own brain waves.
